I have to say Ireland was one of my most favorite vacations. I never could have dreamed how green is really was there. The coast along the Dingle Peninsula is one of the most spectacular sites I have ever seen. From the high cliffs to the beautiful beaches, it was such a spectacular place. The small port town of Kinsale is another magnificent site. The view out along the water really looked amazing especially when the sun was just setting. We had some great seafood chowder here, literally overflowing with fresh lobster and crab. I also enjoyed visiting Blarney Castle and kissing the infamous Blarney stone. And our trip to Dublin was packed full of adventure from visiting Trinity College and seeing the Book of Kells, to touring the Gunnies factory and strolling through Temple Bar. It was a trip of a lifetime and I look forward to the day I go back!

I love golf in Dublin. I know that the Southwest has the most famous courses but personally I love Portmarnock, County Louth (Baltray), The Island, Royal Dublin, St. Annes, etc. There is something great about playing golf in the morning, having a pint (or four) at lunch, taking a nap, having dinner somewhere in the City Centre, then hitting Temple Bar until the pubs close.
